The weekly bag– June 29
A nice bag, man:
- Glitch Watch – United flights delayed, canceled- The boys at Enerjy have a great thing going here– check it out, man!
- Designing for Testability- “…driving an application design at least partially through tests is yet another example of starting with the end in mind.” Well said, Jeremy!
- From the Mailbox: What’s the Definition of Testing?- A good read, indeed.
- Two flavours of BDD – or .net gets behaviour-driven- BDD for .NET, baby.
- Missing Refactor – Convert to Anonymous Class- This is a great technique.
- Testing Groovy UIs with FEST- FEST + Groovy– sounds like a party, man.
- Dr. Dobbs: “C++ vs. JEE”- As usual, TSS has an excellent thread going here. The summarized article is rather ridiculous– check this quote out: “If you are in the situation of planning such a system [written in C++, that is], consider starting such a framework yourself.” Given the availability of amazingly good web frameworks on just about any other platform, this quote tops the list of all time gaffs.
- Lava Lamp for Hudson projects- For the record, I’ve owned a Lava Lamp since college.
